Whitney is a new comedy television series from NBC. Whitney is currently in its first season having premiered in September of 2011. The show Whitney revolves around real life stand up comedian Whitney Cummings. in the show Whitney Cummings plays herself. The show is based upon her life experiences and her stand up comedy act. On the show Whitney plays a photographer who is involved in a relationship with her live-in boyfriend of three years. Other cast members of Whitney include Chris D’Elia as Alex Miller, Maulik Pancholy as Neal, Zoe Lister-Jones as Lily, Rhea Seehorn as Roxanne, and Dan O’Brien as Mark.
