Undercover Boss is a reality TV series that airs on CBS and CTV in Canada. Undercover Boss is based on the British series of the same name. Undercover Boss premiered in the U.S. and Canada in 2009 and was a huge success from the very start. Season 3 of Undercover Boss premieres January 15, 2012 on CBS and CTV. In the show the owner (or high ranking member) of a large company goes undercover within their organization at an entry level position. The boss wears a disguise and assumes a fake alias. They tell everyone that they are filming a documentary about entry-level jobs as the reason for why television cameras are following them around. The whole point of the show is so that the bosses can get a different perspective on their businesses and make any changes they fell are necessary.
