Final Witness is a new documentary crime TV series that airs on ABC and City TV in Canada. The series premiere of Final Witness is Wednesday June 27, 2012 at 10:00 PM ET. The goal of this series is to try to tell the story from the victim’s perspective. Each week (there are 7 episodes scheduled) will focus on a different murder case. There will be interviews with the victim’s family and friends, the authorities that covered the case, the lawyers involved, as well as the real witnesses from each case. Plus, there will be actors reenacting heart pumping scenes from the murders.
New episodes of Final Witness can be seen Wednesday nights on ABC and City TV in Canada throughout the summer. As well, full episodes of Final Witness will be available online to watch on-demand (after the episodes have aired on TV).
