Trampoline at the 2012 Summer Olympics features a men’s and women’s individual competition. There is a qualification round with the top 8 athletes advancing to the finals. Both the qualification round and the finals are held on the same day. The men’s trampoline competition is August 3 followed by the women’s trampoline event on August 4. Canada has 3 athletes competing in trampoline at the 2012 Summer Olympics. They are Jason Burnett, Rosie MacLennan and Karen Cockburn. Jason won the silver medal in men’s trampoline in 2008. Rosie finished 2nd in the 2011 World Championships for women’s trampoline (individual) and Karen has won a medal in women’s trampoline is 3 consecutive Olympics (the only athlete to ever do this).
