Taekwondo at the 2012 Summer Olympics features 8 events (4 men’s divisions and 4 women’s divisions). All Taekwondo events take place from August 8-11. Canada has three athletes competing in Taekwondo at the 2012 Olympics: Francois Coulombe-Fortier (Men’s Division 4 +80 kg), Sebastien Michaud (Men’s Division 3 +80 kg), and Karine Sergerie (Women’s Division 3 -67 kg). In 2008 Karine Sergerie won a silver medal in the women’s -67kg. Karine will be looking for another medal in London. Many of the Taekwondo events will be streamed live online in Canada (including events not being shown on TV).
